Sierra first joined her school’s engineering society as a first year rep, and has since held various roles with Dal’s Studley and Sexton campus societies, including President and VP External. She has also been directly involved with ACES through her roles of IT and Bilingualism Commissioner, and VP Outreach for AEC. She is looking forward to a fantastic year with ACES!

Alex grew up in Red Deer, Alberta, but moved to Halifax to live the engineering dream. He loves to travel and has driven across the country a few times. He enjoys playing sports in his free time, especially soccer.

Alex’s first experience with ACES was attending AEC in his first year, and he was then convinced to run for VP External  for SMU a few weeks later at ELS. He attended several conferences as VP External in his 2nd year, and is looking forward to transitioning to Dalhousie for his 3rd year, although he’ll miss SMU.
